Big ol' sign.

Got this sign a while ago but had not had a chance to post any pictures. Closest I can tell, this one is from around the late 60s to early 70s. Measures about 7ft long.

Super 70s man of steel!

Time to show off some of the retro stuff I've found lately. This was a super find! Original 70s kids Superman costume and mask still in it's box. Totally retro and cool. Find it now on ebay >

Gee Pa, what a great show!

I love the Andy Griffith show. Never gets old, so well written.

Great movie quote...

"What are you rebelling against?"
reply: "Whadda ya got?"

Gary Carter...

Gary Carter passed away today. It's hard not to think of Gary when you think about the Mets.

5th overall on the all time home run list among catchers. The Mets have had some great catchers over the years.

Pure profit. $$$

I hate selling stuff after Christmas! When you spend your free time buying old stuff and turning it for a profit, the dry spell after Christmas is downright lousy. Nobody seems to have any cash left for the cool stuff. So today when I sold my first big item post holiday, I was feeling dandy! Hopefully this marks the beginning of the new buying season!

The sign I sold was hanging on a wood telephone pole in an ally in Brainerd. I talked to the owner of the shop out front and was allowed to have the sign for free if I removed it myself. So there I was, up on a ladder, in a thunder storm, yanking a porcelain sign from a pole. Sweet old sign, sweet sale. It's good to be selling again.

Super Powers team "Galactic Guardians"

Finally found the original cartoon I watched as a kid. The Super Friends cartoons always nagged me because none of the villains quite matched up with what I remembered. Good to know I'm not crazy.

Something about the apple dosen't fall far from the tree...

As much as I was into superheroes when I was a kid, I think my Reese is an even bigger fan. Not a day goes by when he is not dressed as one of the iconic figures. So here is a sampling of the many super faces of Reese!

Ah the memories!

I remember getting the Kenner Batman at the ShopKo in StCloud when I was 4 years old. I waited the eternal ride home to Little Falls before opening up my new toy. Has to be one of my earliest memories. Each 1984 action figure also came with a mini comic book.

The following Christmas I got my most memorable present ever, the Batmobile! I freaked out when I got it. My mom & dad still have it on tape. It's embarrassing.
