Family vacation on old Route 66

In the coming days I will be posting photos of our Family's trip on Route 66. I think I had as much fun as the kids. I shot photos of vintage motel signs all along the way. These sign designs are hum-dingers.

The kids love the Pixar movie "Cars". Much of this movie takes place in a small forgotten ficticious town on Route 66. We were all amazed at how many elements of the movie can actually be found on the route. I'll highlight what we found in the photos, Enjoy!
