One of my favorite signs of the trip is the Premier Motel in Nob Hill. The sign screams of the 50s! Almost has that Jetsons feel to it. I'm trying to find some kind of history on these stops along old 66 but it's hard to come by. The motel is still in operation, although I'm not sure "Premier" is how I would describe the joint now. Also included is an image of a postcard of the same motel from back in the day. Nifty.
