So-long to another great. Duke Snider

Duke Snider was one of my baseball heroes. Talk about a great player that did not get enough credit. Duke past away just a few days ago on Feb 27 2011. Snider was one of the most famous of the Brooklyn Dodgers. Can you imagine being a baseball fan in NY in the 50s? The Dodgers, Giants, and the Yankee$ all playing in the same town.

Duke was gracious enough to sign a Dodgers jersey for me a few years back. It is one of the showpieces of my baseball TV room.
