Whether you liked it or not, the old met was famous for all the colorful panels that adorned the facade. Again it was cool to see design from the old stadium show up in the new. One of the features of Target field is the Metropolitan Club. The restaurant / bar / lounge creates a modern throwback to the colorful panels of the met. Also mixed in are great B&W photos of met moments.
I added a photo of my 65 World Series program as another example of the use of colored panels in vintage Twins design.
